  • Member: Royal Irish Academy; Mining and Metallurgical Club, London; Gold Medalist of the Institute of Mining Metallurgy, London, England; American Institute of Mining Engineers.  Fellow of Geological Society of America, and Colorado Scientific Society

  • Author of many articles on mining districts and methods of mining and milling
