  • Graduate of Knox College (AB) and Yale Univeristy (MS and PhD)

  • Meritorious Service Award and Distinguished Service Award, U.S. Department of Interior.  U.S. Geological Survey geologist for 35 years

  • Avid stamp collector and dealer

  • Combines photography with foreign travel
